The Little Pink Toes Shop Blog
It's been quite a while since I last posted, so just thought I would drop by and let you know why.
I had been wondering for while about what to do with the things I make - friends have always been so positive and encouraging about them, but Etsy hasn't been working for me and I never seem to find out about the craft fairs until its too late.
So I thought I would try to sell them into a shop. I made one phone call to a shop which is situated within a great catchment area for my products, is a dream shop of mine and one which I would always go to to buy gifts or just browse. Anyway, to cut a long story short, I got a meeting and they loved my things and placed an order there and then. So for the past few weeks I've been sewing in my sleep. I would spend all day with the boys - sew like a maniac during Sethie's sleep (Noah at nursery) and then when the boys are finally in bed and we had eaten, start sewing again until at least midnight! I delivered on Monday and can't wait to see everything in the store.
As a consequence of this I have decided to close my Etsy shop - the whole pricing in dollars thing just seems too remote for me - and open a new blog dedicated to the things which I make and sell, whilst keeping this as my personal family one.
The new blog is "under construction" and will be up and running in a few days.
