Aren't these just beautiful- we had some loved friends to play today and Fiona brought these from her garden.
They also convince me that we are absolutely right to paint our walls off white. We have been deliberated over colours for too long now and we have just decided to paint the old white. We are absolutely right - it suits us best.
Just thought I woul post a few pcs of the garden. This anemone is just the most amazing shade of red - really vibrant - ok ok - it is just one but it's better than nothing.
The greenhouse is going crazy with tomatoes and courgettes.
the peas are doing great - we have eaten loads already and they are still looking fab - the boys just grab them and start munching everytime they are in the garden.
The strawberries are still reddening apart from about 5 whch the boys have already nabbed.
Just about to eat some more of these!

Had our first courgettes tonight anf broad beans - fear that the peas won't make it to the dining table as they go straight into Noah's tummy!
Ate the cabbages at the weekend - stirfried with bacon on Saturday night and with chicken for Sunday lunch.
Yum!
Our weekend mission was to sort out a decent area to be used as a vegetable patch, before everything in the greenhouse passed out for want of more space. So Richie dug this splendid site...
and I planted sweetcorn, carrots (invisible at the moment), french beans, peas and butternut squash!
The peas and beans in the border are doing really well at the momenta nd the pods are just fattening up. The potatoes near the greenhouse are thriving.
The runner beans are coming to the tops of their canes...
the herbs are looking lovely and the pots of courgettes are looking swell...
However I still have lots of tomato plants...
and pepper plants awaiting space - probably growbags.
All in all everything is looking great - probably just about time for some bugs to take over!!
Oh forgot to mention that we had our first cabbage leaves with our Sunday lunch and they were delish!!
